Civil War Museum Announces New Events for 2013 - 2014 Enthusiasts

The Civil War Museum is like no other Civil War museum in the country. The museum focuses on the Civil War from the perspective of the people of the six states of the upper middle west Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

VETERANS HERITAGE DAY Saturday, November 9, 2013 10am-4pm Civil War Museum. Memorabilia display from all branches of service in the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean War and Vietnam. 11am Soldiers and Veterans Brick Dedication Ceremony

November 2, 2013 - 3pm An illustrated presentation, Barry Bauman and James Cornelius will explain how the Illinois State Historical Library acquired what they thought was a portrait of Marty Todd Lincoln - but it is not what it appears to be… secret reveled.

November 3, 2013 2pm Join us for a presentation by Margaret Berres and Tom Ludka Eternal Bivouac Union Veterans at Milwaukee's Forest Home Cemetery.
